BOOK TRADE PROGRAM

Welcome to our Book Trade Program! We love helping gently-used books find new homes. Here’s what to know before your appointment.

STORE CREDIT & USE

We buy gently-used books in exchange for store credit. The credit amount is determined by book condition and desirability. Store credit is issued under your name in our system and does not expire.

Credit may be applied toward:

  • Up to 50% off used books

  • Up to 10% off new books

Credit cannot be used on non-book items, gift cards, event tickets, clearance items, special orders, or at the tea counter. We may revisit these policies as our store grows.

BOOK BUYING BY APPOINTMENT

Book buying is by appointment only, and you can schedule one using the button at the bottom of this page. We’re a new store with a small team, so we can’t accommodate walk-ins yet.

Please bring your books to your appointment in boxes or bags that are manageable and intact. Maximum per appointment: 2 containers under 30 lbs each. For larger collections, please contact us to arrange a special appointment.

When you bring your books, we’ll make sure you have a customer account and will do a quick evaluation of them while you stay in the store. Books that don’t meet our current needs will be returned to you. We suggest donating them to the Book Nook at the Fremont County Library or in Little Free Libraries around town. After this, you are welcome to leave the store while we price the ones we keep. You will receive store credit worth 40% of what we price the book. We will email you with the credit amount when we are done.

Sellers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

ACCEPTABLE BOOKS

We accept gently used books that are aligned with our inventory and current customer demands. Our store focuses on newer books, and we are not set up to purchase or sell rare books at this time. All books must be in clean, readable condition, with undamaged covers and spines. We reserve the right to decline any items at our discretion.

Please note that we do not accept:

  • Textbooks

  • Outdated travel guides

  • Encyclopedias or reference sets

  • Magazines or periodicals

  • Ex-library books

  • Diet books

  • Book club editions and condensed/Reader’s Digest editions

  • Damaged, musty, smoky, or heavily marked books

  • Hardcovers missing dust jackets

Thank you for considering our Book Trade Program! We appreciate you and every book you bring in. If you have questions or want to schedule an appointment, don’t hesitate to reach out.
