Want to become an adventurer in a fantasy land but don’t know where to start? Join us at Indie Darling Bookstore for a two-part Dungeons and Dragons 101 workshop where we will provide an overview of how to play, create characters, and go on an introductory adventure into the realms of our imaginations. No experience necessary, come learn how to play the world’s greatest roleplaying game with us!

SCHEDULE:

Part 1: Sat, July 18, 6:30-8:30 PM

• An overview of the history of D&D, where it started, and how it evolved into the phenomenon it is today.

• The core components that make a D&D game.

• Rules, mechanics, and how to play

• Character creation and an overview of what to consider when making a character that you will want to tell a story with.

Part 2: Sun, July 19, 2:30-5:30 PM

• An introductory adventure to try out everything learned in the first session.

COST: $35/person. This fee includes instruction, printed character sheet and reference card, light snacks, and a set of acrylic dice (MSRP $14+).

AGES: 14+

LOCATION: Indie Darling Bookstore, 325 Main St, Lander, WY

REQUIRED MATERIALS: Please bring a notebook and a pencil. Pens are okay for taking notes, but pencils are preferred for character sheets because the details may change over time.
